Born and raised in Takoma Park, Maryland, Pam Fisher has always adored children. She and her late husband, Dave, of over 40 years have three grown children, Amy, David and Matthew. She grew up babysitting a lot of the neighborhood children and her younger sister, Trish. She is the most loving and giving person around.
She has dedicated her whole life to the nurturing of children, whether it be her own or the children which she teaches. For over 20 years, Pam has been working with Kindergarten and First Grade students as their teacher's aide and loves nurturing and teaching the children. Pam has received her CDA (Child Development Accreditation) certification as well.
She wrote Pammy the Pig, her first book, and dedicated it to all of her grandchildren. In fact, the book contains the names of all of her grandchildren and her great nieces and nephews too. Her second book, An Alphabet Book by Mrs. Gregory's Kindergarten Class, also contains the names of family and friends.
